Confidential materials
This page states how the practice handles matter materials. It applies to summary judgment work, appellate work, and written responses to bar complaints. It is not an engagement, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Before engagement
An inquiry is a request for review. Use the inquiry page or write to contact.tkb@turnkeybriefs.com. State the court or disciplinary body, the posture, and any hard date. Do not send the record, a bar complaint, exhibits, medical or financial files, or client names in that first message.
A first email or form submission is not privileged merely because it was sent to the practice. Do not assume confidentiality or privilege until engagement is confirmed in writing.
After engagement
Materials move only on a channel named in the engagement confirmation. That channel is encrypted email or a secure file transfer. A password, if used, is sent separately.
This website is not a case file. Finished work product is returned to retaining counsel. It is not published here.
Bar complaints
Disciplinary files are treated as confidential work for retaining counsel. The public form is not the place for the complaint packet. Send that packet only after written engagement, on the named channel.
Return and retention
Work product is delivered to retaining counsel as a ZIP packet containing PDF and DOCX files, cited sources as separate PDFs, and a receipt. Retention and deletion of the practice copy follow the engagement terms for that matter. If those terms are silent, ask.
